This week, we went to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in downtown Vancouver with four other class from our school. We went to the Orpheum for an hour long symphony extravaganza conducted by Inspector Toby. He made the whole experience very informative yet also extremely entertaining! Inspector Toby taught us what Pizzicato meant, to pluck the strings of an instrument such as a viola or violin. The orchestra went through every single instrument, each playing a specific tune, and it was interesting to hear and learn about each of the unique sounds. In the end, the symphony was fantastic!
